Giving Back to the Animal Community

“As we give, so shall we receive.”

Helping the animal community is one of my great joys so 10% of the profits from Ask Your Animals are given back to the animal community in the form of cash donations, service discounts, volunteered time and talent and gift certificates to those in need.

In the spirit of gratitude and generosity I invite you to nominate a person or non-profit organization that is working to improve conditions for animals in need.  Please email Marjorie with the name and contact information of someone that you believe needs assistance with their animals.  They can be from a rescue organization, shelter, sanctuary or other non-profit group.

Maryland Horse CouncilMHC seeks to unify, inform, and represent Maryland’s diverse horse community. As the industry’s state legislative representative and trade association, MHC protects and promotes the horse industry by providing a united voice in the Maryland state legislature and state agencies, by interacting with the media and the general public, and by keeping its members informed on issues that affect them and their horses.


Animal Advocates of Howard County

Animal Advocates of Howard County is an all-volunteer, nonprofit organization dedicated to preventing the suffering of animals in our area. Although we focus primarily on the plight of homeless pets, we are also interested in animal health, safety, and environmental issues, and promote activities which strengthen the human-animal bond. We are actively involved in legislative issues regarding animal cruelty, and also those which affect wildlife. We believe that the way animals are treated is a reflection of the quality of our society. Hundreds of members, volunteers, and supporters share in this belief and have helped us become the strongest and most respected animal welfare group in the area.

Days End Farm Horse Rescue

Days End Farm Horse Rescue, Inc. is a 501 c3, volunteer based, animal welfare organization. Days End Farm was established in 1989 to ensure quality care and treatment of horses through intervention, education, and outreach./p>

Frederick County 4H Therapeutic Riding Program Inc.

The Mission of the Frederick County 4H Therapeutic Riding Program is to provide a recreational experience and therapeutic regimen to Frederick County citizens with medically certified mental, physical and emotional disabilities, through appropriate equestrian activities.

Frederick County Humane Society

The Frederick County Humane Society anticipates and meets the needs of responsible companion animal owners in Frederick County by providing affordable services, resources and programs to keep their pets healthy, happy and in life-long homes. We are an advocate for animal welfare in the community.

The Maryland Westie Rescue

Maryland Westie Rescue, Inc., is an all-volunteer group dedicated to providing rescue, shelter and the adoption of homeless Westies in Maryland.

Eskie Rescue United

Eskie Rescuers United (ERU) is made up entirely of volunteers.   Our mission is to help American Eskimo Dogs in need of rescue and to reduce the population of American Eskimo Dogs in shelters, humane societies, and in rescue.
